Free CRW Viewer
CRW file format is Canon RAW format. Canon uses two types of RAW image format, CRW
and CR2 file formats. Today, CRW file format is no longer used by Canon because
is replaced by CR2 format. CRW files are written in CIFF – Camera Image File Format.
CRW format have structure that is fundamentally similar to TIFF, but difference
is that CRW offsets are not absolute; they are relative to the start of the data
block for each directory. Another difference is that data in the files comes before
the directories, which is minimizes the amount of memory needed to shield the data
within the file. Also CRW format can contains text information such as time and
date when the image is taken. CRW format was supported by some earlier Canon digital
cameras as:

What CRW viewer can do?
» Zoom In/Out
You can zoom in/out both with mouse and with
slider control.
» Rotate image
Rotating image can be done 90 degrees clockwise
or counter-clockwise, just with clicking on arrow toolbars.
» Pan image
Pan image with the mouse.
» Resize image
On the top toolbar you can see the original
image size. The original size can be changed and the image can be resized with inserting
new size parameters.
» Convert image
Opened CRW image can be converted/saved in other
image format as JPEG(.jpg), Bitmap(.bmp),PNG(.png), GIF(.gif) and TIFF(.tiff).
